Black history is not just something we honor in February — it is the foundation of the culture we live, share, and celebrate every day.

From the early rhythms of blues and jazz to hip-hop, R&B, gospel, and today’s global sounds, Black creators have shaped the music, style, language, and movements that continue to influence the world.

At 107.5 JAMZ, we recognize Black History Month as a time to reflect on the voices, innovators, and change-makers who pushed boundaries, opened doors, and built platforms for future generations. It is also a moment to spotlight the power of storytelling — through music, community engagement, and creative expression.

This month, we celebrate:

  • The pioneers who transformed sound into social impact

  • The artists who used music to amplify truth and resilience

  • The leaders and culture-builders who continue to inspire progress

Black history is living history — and it continues to evolve every day.

We honor the legacy.
We amplify the voices.
We celebrate the culture.
